Makeup Tips For Begininners

Hey Glamanistas!

Todays post is directed more towards beginners . When I first started out wearing makeup I went from place to place to find out advice. I thought it would be convenient to put all of my advice in one place.  Even if you have been doing makeup for years there might be some tips on this list that can help you.

1. Have Self- Confidence

Makeup is only there to enhance what you naturally have. If you feel that you need makeup to look beautiful or feel beautiful. Then you aren't ready for it because its going to come to a point eventually where you won't step out of your house or let anyone see you without make up. you have to believe in yourself and know your beautiful.

2. Take Things Slow

Don't start off with everything at once. Try something else and get the hang of it and see how you like it on you. Then try something else.

3. Practice, Practice, Practice

Please don't go out and spend a bunch of money on makeup put it on the next day and go out. Makeup application is something that takes a lot of practice. Practice whenever your at home and then when you have a routine down and you feel it looks good go out. Follow makeup tutorials. But don't just go out that first day you get your products when your just beginning.

4. Don't Buy High End Products (Yet!)

Your just stating off with makeup and you don't really know what your doing yet. Stick to drugstore pros=ducts until you have gained a little bit of experience in makeup and then ease into high end brand products

5. Twist Don't Pump

This tip is directed towards mascara. When you put your brush in and pump it up and down you are putting air inside the tube helping it to dry out faster. If you twist it inside instead you get the same results without the air.

6. Know Your Skin Type

A lot of makeup is based around whether you have oily, dry, or combo skin and knowing this is going to help you find the products that work best for you faster.

I hope these tips helped
